How to evaluate the intersections of the restriction functions
This is in reference to the Optimization Homework that is due tomorrow. I know that Dr. McClure made several references to considering the intersection points of the functions that serve as our restrictions. I know how to find the intersection points, but I am drawing a blank on how to "consider" them for extrema. What I have done so far is to use the intersection points in calculating the discriminant, but I don't know if that is what I am supposed to do. Any help would be great! Thanks...
