About Homework 10, Question 4, Part 2.B
A random sample of 100 observations from a population with standard deviation 26.88 yielded a sample mean of 94.7.
- Given that the null hypothesis is μ=90 and the alternative hypothesis is μ≠90 using α=.05, find the following:
(a) Test statistic = 1.7485
(b) P-value: ???
In the first part of this question, I found that p=0.0409 after subtracting 0.9591 from one, since I found a z-score/test statistic of 1.7485.
For the p-value portion, I tried looking it up, and all I've gotten is that for a hypothesis problem with an inequality ≠, you should multiply the p-value by two. I did so, and got p=0.0818, but the site marks it as incorrect. Is there a formula I'm missing, or am I not using the correct data?
Thanks in advance.

Nevermind, I took away the 1 and 8 and it accepted the answer.
