For example, [this question](http://calc3.askbot.com/question/5/how-do-i-make-a-parametric-plot/) on parametric plotting looks like it's tagged `Mathematica` and `ParametricPlots`: ![image description](/upfiles/calc3.askbot.com/14034808636025941.png) Exactly what are these and what is their use? How can I tag my questions?Sun, 22 Jun 2014 18:48:15 -0500http://calc3.askbot.com/question/7/what-are-tags/Answer by Mark for What are tags? http://calc3.askbot.com/question/7/what-are-tags/?answer=8#post-id-8As the question correctly guesses, tags are used to classify questions. You must use at least one tag for every question and you can use up to five. There is a list of existing tags under the "tags" button at the top of the AskBot screen. You can create new tags simply by entering the name of your new tag into the tag input field when creating a question. The purpose of many tags should be obvious. The special `Meta` tag is used to indicate that your question concerns operation or use of this site itself. For example, this question on tags is itself a meta question. I will classify questions tagged `Meta` as "Community Wiki" which means that they cannot accumulate Karma. Finally, you can display all questions corresponding to a specific tag by going to the "tags" screen and clicking on the tag you want. It would be a good idea to read through all the `Meta` questions to familiarize yourself with the site.Sun, 22 Jun 2014 18:52:29 -0500http://calc3.askbot.com/question/7/what-are-tags/?answer=8#post-id-8
