Dadgum HW

Lumpyhead00

So I have attempted the second question 6 times and I’m pretty sure that (Z*xSE/ME)^2 should get it done so either I can’t use a calculator or I’m not entering the answer in the specific way IT wants me to. Any suggestions

It’s hard to say what’s going on without more detail. Can you provide a statement and details indicating what you did and with what numbers? I will mention that I don’t think your formula is quite right. Perhaps you meant

\left(\frac{z^* \sigma}{ME}\right)^2?

You had the standard error SE, rather than the standard deviation \sigma.

Yeah that’s the formula that he means. I was also having issues with the same problem, where i’m doing the question correctly it seems, but not getting the right answer. I kept repeating it the same way and it ended up being correct.
