What does your domain look like?

All aboard the Post-It and Like-It train!

Hey guys and gals, I figured it would be cool to see everyone else's domains!

Not to mention it might be a good opportunity for some last minute posts wink

Here's mine:

What does yours look like?!

Neat idea. This is what I ended up with:

Cool! Why does your cooling gradient cut off such a significant portion of your implicit region at the acute angles of your triangle??

dwillia2

Apart from it being an approximation I don't really know. I think that increasing the number of tested points might reduce this behavior, but I still don't know how to do that well enough to try it out. It has something to do with MaxRecursion and PlotPoints being used to increase the density of sample points.

On the other hand it might be perfectly reasonable since the acute parts of the triangle are closer to the edge of the circle (I don't see this as likely though).

Haha, nice idea, Giggey. Also, you have a really beautiful symmetrical looking triangle for your domain, whattttt.

Here was mine:

It just kinda reminds me of a weird 8-ball, honestly.

Vince

Here is mine, I played with the contour options. I got little sharp 'errors' on several contours.

kmaclean

pretty cool

caiken

Mine isn't as fancy as Vince's, but here is what my domain came out like.

cromer

Here's mine.

caiken

Cromer, your punched out triangle looks like a baby triangle compared to the others.
